The Florida chapter of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is an award-winning nonprofit in the area of mental health human rights and government relations. CCHR operates a hotline, manned by advocates who are certified on the Baker Act, to help those who have suffered mental health human rights abuse and all assistance provided is free of charge. CCHR also provides a free guide on Parental Rights in Florida. This booklet provides summaries of some of the rights accord to parents in easy to understand language.
