Operation: Attitude of Gratitude – Fueling the Frontline
Clearwater Partners unite to Fuel the Frontline while supporting Local Restaurants
CLEARWATER, Florida (March 24, 2020) - During this unprecedented time, AMPLIFY Clearwater is launching a program called Operation: Attitude of Gratitude – Fueling the Frontline. This program is designed to support our healthcare workers, first responders and emergency services personnel while simultaneously supporting our restaurants and food service business community.
AMPLIFY Clearwater is coordinating restaurants to provide meals for the people on the frontlines in Clearwater and surrounding areas, with the program purchasing meals from restaurants through community contributions. We have heard from many in our community that want to help. Social distancing doesn’t allow for traditional volunteer opportunities.
“AMPLIFY Clearwater usually hosts an Attitudes of Gratitude event each year leading into hurricane season. This event is a way to say thank you to those that put their lives on the line to protect ours.” said Amanda Payne, President/CEO of AMPLIFY Clearwater. “We are changing it up a bit this year to embrace a new way of saying thanks. Our local restaurants are also an important part of our community, often donating time, efforts and resources to a variety of causes that we are passionate about. This is an excellent way to help them while also saying thank you by providing a meal to those risking their health to help others.”
This project is funded through a GoFundMe page (found HERE). 100% of the proceeds will go towards the cost of providing meals to those serving in the front line of the fight against coronavirus. A huge thank you to Clearwater Gas System and ProVise Management Group for kicking off this effort.
