They have a salad bar. Need more salad after a rather heavy and fried lunch.
$33.35 for a large green veggie soup and two build our own salads.
The salad bar may have looked better earlier today. The lettuce looked a bit sad and wilted as did the red cabbage. Had to selectively pick my greens, so I wouldn't get any rotten pieces.
I picked the mix greens, spinach and Romaine too, carrots, red onions, cabbage, a tiny bit of chick peas and sliced eggs, pepino and pumpkin seeds with balsamic vinaigrette.
My husband had spinach, feta, chicken, red onions, Kalamata olives, mushrooms with green goddess dressing.
The deli lights went out about 7:30pm. The staff are ready to leave and start their weekends.
The produce area looked nicely organized and clean.
The chick peas had an odd white coating on it, put mostly of the white coated ones back. Wasn't sure if it was molded or what was on it. I can't say I have ever seen this kind of white coating on them before.
My husband put some chicken onto his salad, but it was quite dry.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Nicole,
Thanks for writing this review. I’m sorry that our salad bar wasn’t as fresh as it should be & the chicken was dry. We are surprised at this since we normally keep it fresh all day long! We’ve even won 1st Place Best Salad Bar (Creative Loafing Best of the Bay – THIRD YEAR IN A ROW) & 1st Place Best Buffet (Tampa Bay Times’ Best of the Best). Nevertheless, we’ve passed this along to our managers to be sure they are keeping on top of it. The deli does close a bit earlier than the store. Currently it’s 6pm, but that will change to 7pm next week. We still have plenty of staff in other areas that can, and will help once the deli is closed. As for the chickpeas, the white coating is just some leftover aquafaba, not mold! Aquafaba is even used as a substitute for egg whites in some vegan recipes. Lots of our items on our salad bar our organic and our Means Greens soup is chocked full of goodness! It’s one of our signature soups and a fan favorite. I hope you give us another try. We are sure that we can earn the full five stars from you if you give us a chance! - Apr 21, 2023
I'm not really going to waste time with a lengthy review...Whole Foods is cheaper, better quality, and won't charge $.10 a paper bag without warning, usually doubling bags...What a sleazy way to nickel and dime the consumer. If there's a sign, it's not noticeable and the employees don't warn their usual customers. Done.
I'll take the extra few minutes to bypass this place.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 3Business owner information

Hi Gene,
The new charge for our large paper shopping bags has been advertised for several months now. It was part of our Earth Month campaign in an attempt to put a value on these bags so that customers would be incentivized to re-use & bring their own bags. We’ve been letting customers know since January. There are many signs. We apologize if the cashier didn't verbally tell you as well. If you’d like to bring that receipt in, we can redeem your 20¢ since you didn’t know. However, in order to avoid the fee in the future, you’ll need to bring your own bags. You can even bring the two paper ones that you received in this shopping trip. Our prices are actually very competitive with Whole Foods even though we are a small local & family-owned store and not a huge chain. And our quality is definitely as good, if not better. - Stephanie P.Saint Louis, MO115Mar 30, 2024
Went in a few times and they have a pretty good selection of items. I tried the breakfast burrito and it was good! I also got some sort of blueberry cake thing and it was tasty! Everything is a bit pricey but it's yummy.

Every year that passes, I find myself trying to make healthier choices. After several close friends and family have gotten ill recently, the importance of high quality, healthy food became paramount.
Enter Nature's Food Patch Market and Cafe. Tucked away in Clearwater, this moderately sized grocery store has an incredible variety of healthy and delicious food. The produce is fresh, the bulk bins stocked, and the aisles chock full of just about everything imaginable. It's not a bargain basement or discount grocer; good food does cost money (don't get me started on how we need to adjust how we subsidize foods in this country). But it's hard to put a number on one's health, and what you put in your body is clearly a large part of that.
Organic foods abound. Ethnic foods greet you at every corner. Want an interesting cereal, cracker, cookie or noodle you've never tried? Just walk the aisles. There are myriad plant-based options (including an entire freezer or two dedicated to them), although the fresh seafood and organic meat options are also fantastic. The pre-made section has the yummiest choices (blackened tofu sammie? bulgur tabbouleh? pacific rim salmon cooked to perfection?) it makes it almost impossible to choose.
The salad bar is about as good as they come, the hot bar is always delish (check their twitter for daily updates), and the juice and sandwich bars are just incredible. I really am running out of adjectives. Once you grab yourself a snack or a full lunch, there's a cute little dining room nestled away for you to relax and enjoy your meal. I really cannot say enough good things about Nature's Food Patch Market and Cafe. Make sure to get yourself a customer card (it's not a credit card to be clear); it gets you discounts the more you shop there. And once you go, it's hard not to go back.
To conclude, this is my favorite grocery store, bar none. Thank you for coming to my Ed Talk.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Love the food and atmosphere.... Just a weird location. Im not sure how to describe it, but i never felt safe coming out of the car with my family unless my husband was with me.
Right when you walk in though, the store is a dream come true! The selection is great and satisfied my gluten free needs. Its quite pricey and the rewards points didnt really do much for us.
The cafe is incredible though! The food is great and ive never had anything bad.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Thank you Misty. I'm sorry you that you don't feel safe. We've been there for over 35 years and are a staple in the community. Clearwater is currently in the middle of a streetscape project so perhaps that will help.

Completely out-of-my-way, but always a sure bet when am trying to find brand or "unique" health food item. Been years since last visited this location. Expanded in all directions, better lighting, fantastic "to-go" selection, indoor dining space. Found EXACTLY what I'd been looking in Tampa for. Happy, happy, happy customer!

I loved the vegan options at this store. They have extensive plant based daisy options and so many delicious but butters made locally. The produce section was better than any store I have been to in the greater Tampa area. I also loved the health and wellness area. The checker was very appreciative of me bringing my own bags and everyone that worked there was kind and helpful. It seemed like the workers were treated well and I like shopping somewhere the employees look happy. Plus the butcher was adorable too bad I wasn't eating any animal products. My friend I bought grass fed beef for was really happy with his burger.
The olive bar was amazing and the pitted castelvetrano olives were so tasty. I will be returning here, happy to spend my hard earned money on healthy happy food items!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
